Last week, our residents took in the sights on a trip to the Philadelphia Art Museum! Volunteers met them there and they toured the museum for a few hours. Sherry, one of our residents, said her favorite part of the tour was the Japanese Tea House. “I’d like to go back!” she said. “The designs were so intricate, and there was so much I didn’t know about the culture.”
We hope to be able to offer more “field trips” like this to residents in the future. Our thanks to long-time volunteers Hinda and Meri for organizing the trip!
